It took two years and about $10 million, but the 12,000 local members of the Church of Scientology in Sacramento have a new house of worship.
Among the amenities of the new Church of Scientology facility in downtown Sacramento is a chapel, above. There are also seminar rooms, classrooms, dozens of private rooms for spiritual counseling, a bookstore and a cafe.
The building that used to be the Ramona Hotel at Sixth and J streets has been completely refurbished.
