The Rev. Ephraim Williams is a big believer in clearing debt. As his St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church congregation prepares to celebrate paying off a 10-year mortgage ahead of schedule, Williams says: "They say I'm old school. But if I am, why doesn't new school pay the bills?"
